On October 1st, 2020, CAEMBA received a significant donation from two organizations. It comes from the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) and the Ecuadorian Fund for Populorum Progressio (FEPP).
Both organizations donated two overlock machines, one coverstitch machine, one circular cutter, and two Samsung tablets that will be used for the hairdressing and aesthetics workshop, part of the project «Rural Women and Local Management without Gender-Based Violence.»
The Raíz Ecuador Foundation and its CAEMBA project thank UNHCR and FEPP for this important donation that will contribute to the work carried out at the Women’s Entrepreneurship House in the Nueva Esperanza neighborhood in Atacames.
