On August 30, 2021, 120 curtains were delivered to the women of the Nueva Esperanza neighborhood, Atacames canton. These curtains, along with their respective hooks, will be used to furnish the houses of the women in the neighborhood who have received CAEMBA houses. At CAEMBA, we are very clear that our mission is to eradicate precarious housing nationwide. That’s why we have initiated a knowledge-sharing process on bamboo planting, management, harvesting, preparation, and high-durability bamboo house construction in the Ecuadorian Amazon. This process began on Saturday, August 28, 2021, and will conclude two months later, on October 28.

On Thursday, August 12, 2021, the Raíz Ecuador – Caemba Foundation made an important donation to the Divina Providencia Fiscomisional Hospital in the San Lorenzo canton, province of Esmeraldas. We delivered 8 oxygen tanks; 48 boxes of Enoxaparin (2 units per box); 280 vials of Dexamethasone; and 86 boxes of Azithromycin (3 units per box).
