On Monday, November 9, 2020, a site survey was conducted for the future nursery in Nueva Esperanza. The plot is located at the entrance of the ‘Las Cañitas’ sector, across from the Nueva Esperanza neighborhood in Atacames.
This construction will be funded by the company Merck and executed by the CAEMBA project, which is part of the Raíz Ecuador Foundation. The management and maintenance of this childcare center, which will serve many children in the neighborhood, will be overseen by the Municipality of Atacames.
It is important to highlight and thank the tripartite collaboration between Merck, CAEMBA (Raíz Ecuador Foundation), and the Municipality of Atacames to finalize the implementation of this project. This is part of the comprehensive intervention project in the Nueva Esperanza neighborhood ‘One neighborhood at a time,’ which is being carried out by CAEMBA and the Raíz Foundation.
