New reading club in Atacames

On Monday, May 31, 2021, the Elé magazine arrived in the Nueva Esperanza neighborhood in Atacames. Since this date, 83 children will participate in a magnificent reading club, called the E-club. The children will engage in interactive and didactic activities. This project coincides with Children’s Day 2021, where we take the opportunity to congratulate all boys and girls on their day.

This initiative is from the Entregas Group and the Elé magazine. It will be an ideal space to motivate the children of Atacames to read and learn about various topics while having fun. 83 magazines will be delivered monthly in Nueva Esperanza and in the Rulon neighborhood in Tonsupa.

There are also plans to screen videos to delve deeper into the contents of each edition of the magazine and thus complement the learning experience.

We thank the Entregas Group and María Paulina Romo for making this wonderful project a reality, which will benefit many children in the Atacames canton. Thanks to initiatives like this, our work in favor of the most vulnerable is comprehensive, as it includes aspects of decent housing, training, sustainable livelihoods, childcare, and education.
